Flatten The Mountain Eagle: How to Avoid the Attack
When EAGLE INCOMING! appears and a red warning area or flight path is visible, stop mining and move fully outside the marked zone before the eagle passes. Resume only after the danger indicator and attack have cleared. The exact timer, damage, frequency, and post-hit penalty are not confirmed for the September 3 build.

What is officially confirmed
The official Roblox description tells players to watch out for the Eagle. That confirms the hazard exists, but it does not explain its damage, schedule, target selection, or a guaranteed safe structure.
Warning cues shown in dated public material
A September 2 illustrated run documented two useful cues:
- an
EAGLE INCOMING!alert; - a visible red warning area or flight path on the mountain.
A separate gameplay video already referenced by this site includes an eagle encounter at 7:05. Direct transcript access was limited during this research round, so no new timestamp beyond the site's existing record is invented.
What to do when the warning appears
1. Stop committing to a long swing or menu
Close the upgrade menu if it blocks your view. Do not keep click-spamming while standing inside the marked area.
2. Find the edge of the red warning
Turn the camera enough to see where the marked zone ends. Moving a small distance inside the same strip is not enough.
3. Move completely outside the path
Step or jump to an unmarked section of the current layer. The dated guide describes the eagle as dealing damage on contact, so the useful action is avoiding the path rather than trying to damage the bird.
4. Wait for the pass to finish
Do not immediately step back into the same path while the eagle is crossing. Resume mining when the visible danger has cleared.
5. Let automation continue where possible
Drones and turrets may continue mining blocks while you reposition, but they should not be treated as a guaranteed eagle counter.
Do turrets protect you from the eagle?
The public sources conflict:
- one September 1 guide described turrets as having a defensive role;
- a September 2 guide told players to treat the eagle as downtime and move out of its flight path.
Neither source establishes a repeatable current rule that a turret cancels, kills, or blocks the eagle. This guide therefore uses the visible warning area as the only supported counterplay.
Claims this page does not make
- No fixed time between attacks is published.
- No exact damage or health loss is published.
- No “white ring” is treated as a reliable attack timer.
- No cave, notch, wall, or underside is labeled permanently safe.
- No grab, devour, respawn, cash loss, or progress reset is claimed without current evidence.
- No turret build is promised to make the player immune.
Eagle troubleshooting
I saw the text but not the red area
Pull the camera back or rotate it to inspect the current layer. UI scale, terrain, another player, or camera angle may hide part of the warning. Move away from the most exposed line instead of standing still to search for a perfect marker.
I moved but still took damage
Make sure you crossed the full boundary of the marked path rather than moving along it. Network delay and the unconfirmed hitbox may also make late movement unreliable, so react to the first visible cue.
The upgrade menu was open when the alert appeared
Close it immediately and prioritize visibility. Buy upgrades between attacks or from a position where the mountain surface remains visible.
Can I kill the eagle for a reward?
No reliable reward or kill mechanic was confirmed. One dated guide explicitly treated it as an obstacle rather than a profit source.

No reliable current interval was confirmed.
What happens if the eagle hits me?
A dated guide reports HP damage, but the exact amount and any additional penalty are not confirmed for the current build.
